Terms of Service

1. About the Service

DailyPractice Preschool is a holistic early childhood learning platform for children aged 2.5–6 years. The App combines digital learning activities with physical Hands-On Kits, guided by the Panchkosha (five-sheath) developmental framework and aligned with India's National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage (NCF-FS).

2. Eligibility

• The App is intended for use by parents or legal guardians on behalf of their children.
• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.
• Children use the App only under parental supervision. The parent is the “More Knowledgeable Other” (MKO) in every learning interaction.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

• Trial: 14-day access for a one-time fee. No auto-renewal.
• Bloom & Flourish: Monthly subscriptions that auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from the App settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Existing subscribers retain their current rate until the end of their billing cycle.

4. Refund Policy

• Trial fees are non-refundable once the trial period has started.
• Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable for the current billing period. You may cancel to prevent future charges.
• If you experience a technical issue that prevents access for more than 48 consecutive hours, contact us for a prorated credit.

5. Hands-On Kit (Physical Materials)

• Flourish subscribers receive physical Hands-On Kits shipped to the address on file.
• Delivery timelines are estimates. We are not liable for courier delays beyond our control.
• Damaged or missing kits should be reported within 7 days of expected delivery for replacement.

6. Acceptable Use

• Use the App only for its intended purpose — your child's early learning and development.
• Do not upload content that is inappropriate, harmful, or unrelated to your child's learning portfolio.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the curriculum content, activity designs, or media assets.
• One account per family. Do not share login credentials with others.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

• All curriculum content, activity designs, illustrations, stories, and the Panchkosha/Panchaadi frameworks are owned by DailyPractice.
• Photos, videos, and creative work uploaded by your child remain your property. We do not claim ownership of user-generated content.
• By uploading media, you grant us a limited licence to store, process (compress, moderate), and display it within your private portfolio. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.

8. Parent Responsibilities

• Supervise your child during digital activities and facilitate offline Hands-On tasks.
• Ensure the child's profile information (age, level) is accurate for appropriate content delivery.
• Keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Respect screen time guidelines. The App is designed for 15–35 minutes of daily screen use depending on age level.

9. Service Availability

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance.
• Some features require an active internet connection. Offline activities (Hands-On tasks, physical movement) do not require the App.

10. Limitation of Liability

DailyPractice Preschool is an educational tool to supplement — not replace — parental guidance and formal early childhood education. We do not guarantee specific developmental outcomes. Our adaptive engine provides recommendations, not clinical assessments. For developmental concerns, consult a qualified child development specialist.

11. Termination

• You may close your account at any time from the App settings or by contacting us.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where possible.
• Upon termination, your data is handled per our Privacy Policy (5-year retention, then deletion).

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and in-app notification at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use after that period constitutes acceptance.
